Crystal is a gem. I suffered an injury just a few weeks before the Boston Marathon that had me questioning whether I’d actually be able to run it. Thanks to Crystal and her amazing knowledge and expertise, I was not only able to start, but I finished with a course personal best time. “I suffered with chronic low back pain for over a year (causing pain in my right leg). I tried a couple of chiropractors, three physical therapists, an orthopedist, a physiatrist and acupuncture. I was able to get some relief with treatment but I still was not back to my full activities. Driving a car was particularly challenging and I was very limited in how long I could tolerate it…I received a very thorough assessment at my first visit heavily focused on range of motion and strength deficits. I received some stretching exercises and felt more relief after the first week than I had in a year. After 3 more treatment sessions I was nearly pain free and able to drive to the beach (something I hadn't been able to do for over a year). What I really like about Meaningful Movement is the one-on-one, detailed attention. This was much different from the other PT sessions I had prior with other providers …Most of all, I like not thinking 24/7 about chronic pain.”
